— «The game is very exciting; it develops an ear for music and helps to master basic musical skills» — says Aleksey Koshvanets, winner of international violin competitions, associate professor of Moscow Conservatory, Professor and Chair of Violin and Viola Department at the Russian Academy of Music.
— Twelve thousands disks with the MP have been sold attached to the PC box version in Russia and Israel.
An original puzzle, where you assemble a melody instead of images. You will need not only attention, logic, strategy and insight, but also an ear for music! And a bit of patience. Or a lot. Each puzzle consists of a passage of music and musical notation. Noticing the relation between them you will understands the "secrets" of musical notation.
The game develops an ear for music and imparts a taste for classical music. Five popular classical tunes were recorded by noted musicians especially for the MP. Listen carefully to the original tune and let's get it on! I have children. If they were not wasting their time on games, they would have learned one more foreign language, Wu Shu or would have played violin. I, together with my friends (they are parents too!), came up with a trivial idea to make a game combining excitement and something useful to make up at least for a part of the wasted time. Well, for example, this may be a new knowledge or skill. As a result, we've made a puzzle where one needs to assemble music instead of images.
We selected popular and relatively simple classic tunes, recorded live tracks performed by professional artists, cut them into pieces, made a design appropriate for the corresponding melody's era, and... the first tests showed that the game was a success! At least it is interesting to play both for children and adults. Each puzzle consists of a passage of music and its musical notation, you need to listen the music and consider the notes carefully before you put the passage on the timeline, the notes may give you a hint! The game helps to understand musical notation and develops an ear for music.
And most importantly, it imparts love of classical music — now my children have Rachmaninov and Satie in their players along with Moby, Lady Gaga and Led Zeppelin.
